Over the 2023-24 summer, Reilly a break from working on Golden Orb, and ​wrote a few songs out of the clear blue sky.

Each song, in its own way, connects to another time...

a time when we got on our bikes and rode the streets with the neighbourhood kids, stopping off at someone's house for biscuits and cordial, then riding off again until the street lights came on. Then it was time to head home.

It wasn't all lollipops and rainbows. There's always trash and treasure to be found when digging around in the past, but it is worthy of exploration. These songs bear witness to moments of clarity - and fog, wisdom, grief, and pure joy.

Currently in production, 'The Summer EP' is co-produced by Stu Soler, and will be mastered by Laura Osburn.

Due out later this year.
